A beautiful place, but the service lets it down. Pros: The interiors are stunning, the view is magnificent, and the food is reasonably good. To some extent this is expected due to the location, but it is slightly overpriced and overstated for what it is - if you're familiar with thai food the main dishes in particular will not surprise you, they are just decent thai food. The desserts on the other hand are quite original and excellent.

Cons: My main complaint however is about the service. We asked for some advice regarding wines, and we specifically stated what price range we wanted the wines to be in. We pointed to 3 of the cheaper (though still objectively expensive) options on the menu, and the waitress said she would come back with the bottles so we could take a look. Without warning us that the wines we asked for were not in stock, we were led to believe that they were the wines we had asked about, and so we chose one of them. Only when we received the bill did we realize they had upsold us a wine 4 times the price of the original one we'd asked for, with the same appellation (Alvarinho), so very easy to confuse when not made clear by the waitress. When we explained at the end what happened, we received no sympathy and no apology. I'm afraid this left a very bad taste in our mouths, and makes us unwilling to return here on our next visit. Mistakes happen, though I think this was very underhanded behavior by the waitress, but the lack of apology for this mistreatment...

I knew the reviews going in; also the pricing. But is was a special date night; and we didn't expect perfection; just competence. The atmosphere is stunning; TBH, I've never really experienced this level of luxury in Brasil. The service was amazing, seems like there were 3 employees for every table, zero complaints. But the Thai food was just not good. The coconut shrimp were tasteless, not crispy, heavy, not light, my wife's rice dish was bland, not attractive, and while my Pad Thai has lots of fresh seafood, it also lacked in taste. Chegando, fomos ao concierge, anunciamos nossa reserva e rapidamente fomos atendidos e guiados até o restaurante enquanto éramos apresentados ao hotel. A Concept é um lugar maravilhoso, paradisíaco.

O restaurante é impecável. Decoração linda. Da minha mesa eu tive o prazer de assistir, mesmo que de longe, todo o balé da cozinha, esta aberta a quem quiser acompanhar a maravilhosa dança que é uma cozinha de alto padrão.

O menu é simples, coeso e de um impacto inexplicável. Eu, como amante de coco, iniciei meu jantar com vieiras, texturas de abóbora e coco, seguido de camarões com abacaxi e a sobremesa, ah, a sobremesa: 'Tudo coco'. Coco, maracujá. chocolate e coentro, este presente em todos os pratos com uma delicadeza ímpar.

Recomendo o drink do mixologista. Este vem até a sua mesa e como em uma consulta com um psicólogo, anota suas preferências e te sugere o melhor drink para o momento.
