The restaurant faces the beautiful Imaruì lagoon, and on a sunny day the setting is truly stunning. The atmosphere inside is very pleasant and the service attentive, which makes for a welcoming experience.
The food, however, did not quite live up to the setting. While the presentation is attractive, the flavors often felt underwhelming. Many of the dishes are either bland or seasoned with spices and condiments that don’t add much depth. My octopus, in particular, was unfortunately chewy and plasticky: so tough that I couldn’t cut through it, let alone enjoy it. Properly prepared, octopus can be wonderfully tender, so this was disappointing. The risotto served alongside it was also lacking in flavor.
Overall, I still enjoyed the visit thanks to the location and service, but I believe the cuisine would benefit from refinement: fewer dishes, simpler preparation, and a focus on quality and balance rather than an overload...

It is in the newly renovated “Mercado Público” which is a historic public market right on the lagoon with a panoramic view of the Laguna Imarui and it’s sand bars. Every table has a stunning view since the dining area is enclosed in glass. There are giant sliding doors that open to allow the natural breeze in. There are also a number of tables outside the enclosure right next to the water. The food is delicious. There is care in the way the plates are presented and the portions are abundant. I was so disappointed, when we asked our dish that we haven't finished (it was almost a full plate of fish, shrimps and French fires) for take away. And we discovered at home that the fish was missing, there were only three pieces of shrimps and some french fries. That was an unpleasant surprise for a restaurant...
