Ilha Camarões — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata do Recife

The Caesar Salad was good especially the chicken pieces. The sauce was somehow close to Caesar sauce (still strong mayo taste but better than commonly ordering caesar salad from restos and being given a salad with mayo/oleo/some dressing that is not Caesar's). I just really wish restos in Brazil don't put Caesar saId in the menu for something completely different. The salad having parmesão, chiken bits and croutons doesn't make it a caesar salad.

The shrimp caladinho was really tasty and good expect the quail egg (wierd taste, not fresh). Soup came with 2 tiny shrimp and an olive.

The Pernambuco Lagosta set is good, grilled with some herbs, came with rice brócolis and some sautéd vegetables. Can satisfy 2-3 people.

It's a fancy restaurant so don't expect the prices...

Cheguei de bermuda e chinelo pois é uma cidade com praia e ao entrar perguntei se poderia pegar um cardápio e o garçom disse que sim e enquanto olhava o cardápio um outro garçom ficou aguardando eu fazer o pedido e até me indicou os executivos, quando olho pro lado me deparo com esse garçom me olhando de cima a baixo com um olhar de desprezo e julgamento, pedi o prato e disse que ficaria do lado de fora e o mesmo fez uma cara de que não queria atender do lado de fora, depois apenas colocaram na minha mesa o azeite e um prato sem nem olhar na minha cara mas quando uma familia que estava aparentemente bem vestidos esqueceu uma bolsa que parecia ser cara o garçom foi entregar com sorriso no rosto e até brincou com eles e riu mas quando entregou meu prato apenas falou "cuidado que em cima da quente" com uma voz pra dentro como se não quisesse falar comigo, na hora de pagar pedi pra retirar os 10% SIM, pq não tenho a obrigação de pagar pela taxa de serviço que foi PÉSSIMO, os garçons sabem quem foi, espero que sejam...

Am Montag 5 12., wo ich das Restaurant abends besuchte, spielte am Nachmittag die brasilianische Seleção in Quatar, die haben zwar gewonnen aber leider gab es im Restaurant deswegen keine "Happy hour" für günstige Drinks und auch keine "Promocões" bei den Speiseangeboten. Das Lokal war zu etwa 30% belegt, der Service war nett, aufmerksam und speditiv. Die Vorspeise "Bruscetta de Camarões" und der "Caipifruta de Morango" kamen rasch und schmeckten sehr gut. Danach bestellten wir Linguine mit Camarões, die Portion war sehr gross mit ca 2 × 9 Garnelen gebraten oben drauf. Meiner Ansicht nach viel zu viel Bechamel Sauce die Linguine m Brocolis schwammen darin, die Portion f 3-4 Pers, was aber sicher nicht gerecht ist, ist der Preis von RS 169.00 regulär anscheinend gibt es Tage, wo das gleiche Menue nur die Hälfte kostet, wie in vorangehenden Posts...
