Clássico Beach Club - Grumari — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata do Rio de Janeiro

I am a loyal client of Classico Beach Cluba in Barra, Ipanema and Grumari.

Yesterday the service and quality of the food was not even sufficient for a Boteco de Barrio let alone a place where one spends 160/200 reais per person.

Firstly the manager wasn’t even attending the front door for about 10 minutes, we had to ask 4 people for a table.

Then he told us for wait, which we did for 19 minutes without even being offered to order a drink or something during the wait. Once a table was identified, then it took the staff 14 minutes to get around cleaning the table and another 10 minutes to get a menu.

Then it took 45 minutes to receive our food and when it arrived it was extremely poor in quality, nothing like other times before.

When I confronted the manager that they were clearly operating understaffed and in a disorganized environment he said that it wasn’t true but that he would help us speed up the order.

In any case the Peixe do Dia which is usually quite fresh, juicy and well seasoned was completely dry and the Rice with Shrimp and Calamari was also completely dry, seemed like cooked hours before.

To try and make it the manager kindly offered us dessert but we were disappointed with the whole experience by then.

We have been to this restaurant a number of times, and the biggest problem we have is that the credit card machines do not connect to the Internet, and therefore we had to go through embarrassing. Moments been told that the credit card had been declined. After numerous attempts, and eventually once they connected to the Internet, the credit card was obviously accepted. The price for the food is expensive for what it is, as essentially it is similar to a kiosk that you would find on any Brazilian beach. Pior experiência na rede clássico. Quando eu cheguei o quiosque não estava cheio. Eu perguntei ao garçom Henrique se ele teria uma mesa pra uma pessoa e ele me encaminhou a uma mesa e antes mesmo de um conseguir sentar um outro garçom disse que estava reservada. Perguntei se eu não podia sentar em uma das outras 5 mesas livres na parte de baixo e antes que pudesse ficar confortável me tiraram dali disseram que aquelas 5 mesas também estavam reservadas. Então ele me colocou num sofá onde eu esperei por uns 20 minutos. Uma outra senhora também chegou e sentou no sofá conversamos e ela prontamente foi levada a uma das mesas então eu questionei se se eles teriam uma mesa pra mim. Com muita relutância fui encaminhada para uma mesa imunda embaixo de uma construção depois de dizer que eu não ficaria muito tempo no local . Como é longe e estava com muita fome resolvi apenas pedir comer e sair. Enquanto eu chegava vi pessoas sentando nas mesas que estavam na minha frente sendo muito bem atendidas os garçons abriram guarda sóis e perguntavam se aquela mesa estava boa. Então percebi que o problema era eu ou a minha cor no caso. Ninguém passou nenhum pano na mesa pra tirar os restos da construção que haviam caído os pratos estavam cheios de verniz eu podia ver claramente esses dois garçons fingindo que não estavam me vendo Sempre frequentei a rede e fui bem tratada em todas as filias. Mas nessa eu realmente não voltarei....
