Restaurante Mangata — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata de Parnaíba

We arrived and lots of people were waiting. As we just wanted a table for 2, our waiting time was only around 10 minutes. The lady at the door was very friendly! They said the food might take up to 45-60min to arrive because it was a busy night but it actually arrived faster.

Though we did get the wrong juice at first (juice with sugar in a bottle instead of unsugared juice in a cup), we were happily surprised how the ordered mal passado Prime Rib steak (800 g including a big bone) was great in taste and preparation! Even though we were full, we ordered dessert and it was also delicious!

Service awful. Such lack of care and responsibility. Took almost 30 minutes to be served the wrong drink. Then they took it away to be thrown away, it made me wonder whether they would serve it to someone else! The drink I ordered did not come till after we had started eating. Overpriced for what it is.

Segunda vez que viemos. Minha principal motivação foi por conta da área Kids (pais de filho autista tem gratuidade no uso por ele), mas o restaurante oferece outras qualidades, como uma vista agradável, ambiente climatizado, garçons cordiais e prestativos, orientados para nos fazer sentir bem. O tempo de espera dos pratos foi ligeiro, menos de 30 minutos já estávamos comendo. Para quem gosta de sabor, sugiro o Medalhão Itália (R$174), Medalhões de filé com tomates cereja confit acompanhados de arroz cremoso de tomate seco, manjericão e parmesão. O prato foi suficiente para 03 pessoas. Aproveitei para conhecer o Chopp da Oli Hop (foto, R$9). Quem estava comigo à mesa pediu outro prato, Filé Delta do Parnaiba (foto), um prato que exibe um sabor mais delicado no arroz, contrastando com a carne regada no vinho local. Eu preferi o meu pedido.

Finalizamos pedindo uma sobremesa, Cookies com Nutella (foto) (R$28): Cookie de amêndoas com recheio de creme de nutella. Acompanha sorvete de leite ninho, muito saboroso.
