Black Angus Burger Food poisoning.

On the positive side: Clean interior, cool music, rich menu, family environment. Celebrated my mother's 71st birthday with lots of family and friends. Very good service. Tasty salads. Rich menu with grilled meat, many burgers, and the famous Happy, Black Angus burger. Flagship of their TV advertising campaign.

On the negative: Worst food poisoning one can get with a tasty Black Angus burger. She vomited more than 12 hours. (And I had asked the waiter to have it really well cooked). My teenage daughter decided to stop eating meat in restaurants in Bulgaria since then. We had come to Bulgaria for the Christmas holidays. What a pleasure spoiler.

The story goes on: friends of mine bought meat in the same Happy in Bankya in April 2020 for their teenage son. Food poisoning again! They tried calling the Bulgaria hygiene service to inspect the place. With no success unfortunately.

These are the facts. Happy Happy poisoning...

This is not a Happy restaurant! This is a place labeled as Happy, unfortunately has nothing to do with the rest of the Happy restaurants. Interior is a dirty with an atmosphere as a lunchroom from 70s. the menu is different from the other happy restaurants. they have option for Online menu on the table via QR code. That online menu has different content from the paper one they gave us. They told us that the QR menu is not valid...but still keeping it on the table. inside is so noisy like you are on a concerts. the menu came after 15min if waiting...while the waiters were smoking on the front door... They came after ringing 4times the bell. Definitely will not return..

The only good thing is that here they don't mix the smokers and the nonsmokers, like in the rest...

I thought I could trust Happy to have general good food and service all over Bulgaria. But no, not in Bankya.

When we came in, there were very few people, but most of the tables were full of trash and left food and drink. We ignored this and found a clean table and ordered a burger and fish salad and some drink. First came my Coke Cola pretty warm, then came my burger and it was obvious that whoever operated the microwave didn't know what he was doing. The burger and fries were cold, but the sauce was burned to the disk.

I was hungry and in a hurry, so I just ate this dog food as quickly as I could and left.

There were a lot of staff present. But only our youth waiter seems to do something. the rest of the staff were waisting their time and the owner money...
