BLØØM — Restaurant in Cocody

Being an Ivorian native living in Canada , I highly do not recommend this place because of the poor service being offered. Without discrediting the organization as a whole, I would like to point the very bad service from the workers in front. For all my fellow internationals that are coming for the CAN2024 , if you do not want to be disrespected by the lady in front please DO NOT GO THERE. In Abidjan , you will find a lot of places with great service and good vibes. Bloom’s management is great and they are not to blame for the poor quality of service given by their employee. That being said, I believe that one person they hired should not be the first face any client discovering Ivory Coast sees. This will most likely leave a bad taste and would diminish the image of the Bloom and Ivory...

I'm completely shocked!!! I order an orange juice, they want to charge me for a cocktail with alcohol (gin, lemon, peach, orange...): "The Sweet Bitters"! And they start looking for arguments why the bill can't be rectifiée🤷🏽 When I insist that they change the bill, they charge me for a caraffe de Jus when all I've been served is a glass of juice.

I order a fresh Orange Juice, they bring me a juice mixed with orange juice in a carton. My friend orders a Mojito, but they don't serve alcohol in the second course. They say it's karaoke night, but we arrive, wait until midnight and no karaoke.

My whole evening ruined! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MEDIOCRE PLACE!!!! It was my first time in Abidjan and it's the worst place I've ever been.

Je commande un jus d’orange, ils veulent me facturer un cocktail avec alcool (gin, citron, pèche, orange…) : “Le Sweet Bitters”! Et commencent à chercher des arguments comme quoi la facture ne peut pas être rectifiée🤷🏽 Quand j’insiste pour qu’ils changent la facture, ils me facturent une caraffe de Jus alors qu’on ne m’a servi qu’un verre de jus.

Je commande un Jus d’Orange frais, on m’apporte un jus mélangé avec du jus d’orange en carton. Mon amie commande un Mojito, ils ne mettent pas d’alcool dans le deuxième service. Ils disent que c’est soirée Karaoke, mais on arrive, on attend jusqu’à minuit et pas de karaoke.

Toute ma soirée gâchée! JE NE RECOMMANDE PAS CET ENDROIT MEDIOCRE!!! C’était ma première fois à Abidjan et c’est le pire endroit que j’ai eu à visiter.

It's a cozy bar with a stylish decoration. You feel like you're outdoors with plants hanging from the high ceiling. The lighting is discreet and pleasing, the music is not loud so perfect to hang out with friends or with a date while being able to have a conversation. Service is quick but you pay after each order. They make you think it is select by having a reserved sign on every table but you can easily get a table if you talk nicely to the lady at the entrance....
