It's a business/luxury restaurant concept, the food is very nice and delicate and it comes at a price. You do have a lunch package less than 20k(without drinks) which still expensive depending on your budget. The menu is more Occidental and you'll have a good mix of seafood also. The service is perfect like a 4 star hotel. Food is serviced rapidly which is a big advantage for the concept. Nice modern and meticulous setting, but can be noisy at peak times . There is no dress code but I never saw someone in short there.. 😅You have outdoor tables and smoking is permitted. This beautiful restaurant is "the" place to see and to be seen in Abidjan! The decor is amazing, in shades of green and black, and gold/brass details. Hostess welcomed us with friendliness and the manager/owner (?) was quick to accommodate some of our vegetarian needs. We did not have dinner, just had a bite to eat with our drinks. Food was good, especially the Aubergine Rotor, but not memorable. Restaurant, bar, restrooms were all spotlessly clean. Some staff still need to improve their service -- for example, trying to move the clients' food from one plate to another by tilting one plate towards the other is very awkward. Le Comptoir reminds me of how Parisian Brasseries, like the Stella, used to be in the past, balance of class and coziness. Food is good even though a couple of times out of around 20 in the past couple of years, the meat arrived cold, the faux pas was bridged by the kind apologies of the waiter. The effort of the service makes the place stand apart in Abidjan, credit to the staff's training and the operation management.
