Annapurna Indian Restaurant and supermarket — Restaurant in Marcory

I absolutely love indian cuisine and I must say Annapurna Indian Restaurant did not disappoint. To be honest, I would say its some of the best indian food we've eaten. It was our second time ordering from them via delivery and the quality and freshness of the food was really admirable. Our first order a few weeks ago was Butter chicken and Prawn Masala with Garlice Naan as a side. All was divine, so delicious!! Our second order which was yesterday, was potato and pea samoosas, chicken tikka masala, mutton biryani, steamed rice and butter roti. Every dish was packed with flavour and as authentically made as it should be.

One suggestion would be that, the Mutton Biryani can be a bit less spicy or accomadated to those who prefer less heat but nonethe less it was still absolutely delicious with the raita that came with it. Although do please look into the heat level :)

We were disappointed with hidden-in-an-alley Annapurna. We had a Chicken Tikka, an Aloo Tikki Chat, a Vegetable Kofta and some Papadums, and none of the dishes lived up to our expectations. Not even the uncomplicated Mango Lassi saved the day. There is an air-conditioned room and an outdoor area in a courtyard with several fans to help cool down the temperature. Servers were excellent, with quick and friendly responses to our queries or demands. We had a small issue with one of the dishes and the manager/owner (?) came to the table and apologized. Must say this is one of the best authentic Indian Restaurant with attached Grossary store for things from India . They have lovely managed place with ample sitting and lovely garden view . Place is really cozy and one can feel pleasant here . Food taste is awesome and one will love the food here . They have range of drinks available here . Staff is extremely helpful and understand the customer need well. Service is also great and quick response. One can order and I think they do deliver. Place is easy to find in prime area . Great to visit here ....
