Chez Wang — Restaurant in Marcory

We were 9 dining there, at least 3 of us (very probably more than that cuz I didn’t want to ask around and be the spoiler) fell sick the night and the morning after, with me going at both ends. Went there again on our last night in Abj, this time I had nothing but vegetables, didn’t lay my chopsticks on any meat, cuz I knew the offending dishes were the beef and the porc, and I came back unscathed. So think twice before you order.

Prix assez élevés alors que c'est pas du 5 étoile. Une petite bouteille d'eau à 1000 CFA c'est abusé je trouve. La qualité de la nourriture n'est pas mal, bien présenté. J'ai mangé avec ma compagne ce soir du poulet king pao(hyper épicée, donc âme sensible s'abstenir), c'était pas top mais ça passe. Le plat est assez grand pour être partager à 2 voir 3 s'il y a un accompagnement. Je l'ai accompagné de riz cantonais, très bon par contre. Le plat aussi est assez conséquent pour 2 personnes. Ma compagne a pris une soupe vermicelle, je l'ai trouvé pas assez assaisonné à mon goût, elle a aimé. En entrée des nems crevettes qui était en surcuisson du coup ça a gâché le goût(et c'est pas donné aussi, 4 500 pour 8 pièces c'est trop).

Le cadre est bon pour des amis ou un repas en famille mais je ne recommande pas pour un repas à deux avec la bien bien-aimé car les clients chinois qui y viennent, assez nombreux, sont pas du tout discret et très bruyants. J'aurais mis les 4 étoiles mais à cause de ce dernier point...

This gem is one of the best oriental restaurants I have ever been to. From the time you arrive the service is incredible. As an expat I was initially concern about my choice but damn the food was so so good. I honestly dont have anything negative to say about my experience....
