During my first visit to Ivory Coast, I really enjoyed my time here. However, the fact that they didn't accept debit cards was quite frustrating. I ended up using mobile money via Sendwave, which was manageable. Now, I’m back in Ivory Coast again and decided to stop for lunch. To my surprise, they still don’t accept cards, even a year later.
In addition, they now charge a fee for using mobile money, which is absurd. If customers can’t pay with cards, why impose an extra fee?
