Restaurant Le Sushi — Restaurant in Marcory

I went for a solo date in this restaurant on Sunday 10th Dec 2023 being that I’m new in the country .

I got in and the waiters were just looking at me weirdly and not offering to help. Went up to them to ask if I could sit outside , and the lady with dreads who had such a negative attitude towards me said I couldn’t since I was alone . Please note the restaurant was almost empty with only like 2 tables inside occupied.

I was struggling with French as I speak English which she actually could understand but after she didn’t want to speak to me again and as I struggled with the other waiters who asked her to talk to me , she dismissed them and basically refused .

After finding myself somewhere to sit , I had to wait for like 30 minutes without being served nor a menu nor nothing , they were just giving me bad looks . I was hungry and didn’t have energy to leave so I just waited patiently as I kept asking for the menu .

My entire solo date experience here was super horrible . When other people mostly white would come in , it was clear that the treatment was way way different .

In terms of food, the sushi is delicious, it's one of the best I tried in Abidjan, if not the best. They have a wide variety of sushi, they also have a variety of options for anyone who doesn't like/eat sushi, including, pasta, steak, noodles, sandwiches, and a big dessert menu. They don't have a drinks menu though and they don't serve alcohol. The service, however, should definitely be improved. You know it's bad service when there's literally only one other table than yours and the service is slow and waiters are unattentive. The waiter did not clear the table from dirty plates before bringing the sushi boat, instead she put the boat on the edge of the table while holding the otherside so it doesn't fall and tried to move the clutter away while we helped her move everything. Le Sushi, a perfect and hygienic place for numbers of choices of types of sushi and sashimi. People who don’t like rice in sushi for them they have no - 42 sushi. Which has no rice. Their prices are good particularly for the quality served. Child friendly environment. Chairs are comfortable too. Staffs are polite. Owner is personally attaining visitors. One should try and it’s really good. They have some other menu is also available. Really nice to dine in....
