The rice had a bitter aftertaste. I had to mask it with wasabi and a lot of ginger to make it taste better. I don’t know if it’s something wrong with my mouth but you should definitely look into this. People who know real sushi will definitely also taste this bitter aftertaste. Maybe it’s the vinegar that should be changed.
In my opinion I also think that there could have been slightly more vinegar and sugar in the rice. Except for the bitter aftertaste it almost tasted like plain rice.
The tuna avocado tartar was not like the picture. It had a creamy white sauce that didn’t suit to tuna tartar at all in my opinion. It didn’t taste Asian at all. And on the picture it had no sauce at all. If I go to an expensive restaurant and order after a picture I want it to be like the picture.
2 servers were standing and eyeing me with lust the whole stay when I was there with my boyfriend. Highly unprofessional and very uncomfortable. My boyfriend couldn’t relax at all.
The rolls were good, not a lot of rice so not a lot of bitter aftertaste. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars and not 1. The 2 servers eyeing me with lust the whole stay were also a bit hectic, they asked literally 5 times if my miso soup was out when it wasn’t. But they never filled our water glasses. They follow protocol but they don’t have real service mind. Otherwise they would think about stuff like not lusting after guests or filling water glasses. Look at the cameras at the left side of the chefs bar. At around 19:30 19th of February. And you can see witch servers I’m talking about. The manager should definitely have a talk with these servers. No manager wants servers lusting after customers.
I had to turn my chair away from them because they were making me and my boyfriend uncomfortable constantly staring at me.
The English speaking server was really nice and helpful.
This could have been such a good experience if the rice didn’t have a bitter aftertaste. I would have hoped for better when paying so much.
The music didn’t fit in a luxurious sushi restaurant. More sophisticated music would have suited better than...

We tried a variety of dishes including : Mise en Bouche "Appetisers and Dumplings", Tsu-shimi, Sushi, Sashimi, Maki... Food was all tasty, but all tends to be served when ready or at once, which makes for a rather speedy rather than a relaxing meal. The place is nice inside, no background music, which means you can at least have a worthwhile conversation while eating. Restaurant is fairly compact but doesn't feel cramped. Prices are reasonable but some portions are too small. Last but not least the presentation on the food on the table could be improve with expendable tables for more space!! However it's a decent...
Read moreTsunami in Abidjan provided a remarkable dining experience that transported me straight to their branch in Lebanon. The food was not only outstanding but also remarkably reminiscent of the authentic flavors I'd experienced there.
I can't recommend enough trying the Women's Mistake Salade and the Crispy Salmon; they tasted just like they do in Lebanon. The Maki selection is equally exceptional, and the variety can make it a delightful challenge to decide what to order. Every bite brought back the delightful flavors I remembered. I'm eagerly looking forward to returning for more...
