This is a new cafe (at least to me). Conviently located just outside the village of Fowlmere about 15km south of Cambridge. Plenty of parking for ππ and π΄π΄ββοΈπ΄ββοΈ. It is in a modern barn structure but it is made to look quite rustic inside. Nice place to sit and there is seating inside and outside. There is quite a bit of space so good for SD. I was served quickly by efficient staff. I had a large β, a π₯and π°; all were πππ. The prices were very reasonable making it good value. There is also a Italian focused deli if you want to grab some spaghetti. I will certainly return. This only downside for me is it is a bit too close to where I live βΉοΈ. Feb 2022 update: still good but it can get busy at times and getting the drinks and food can sometimes be a bit slow - just chill though. Although there is a π park, it's still a great place to visit by π΄ or on πΆββοΈ. Still great in September 2022 - but don't get there too late as the good cakes we'll have gone. June 2023, although it's recently changed its name to cafe Amigo, the food and drink are still just as good. June 2024 - still great.

This is not just another coffee shop. This is not just another cyclist stop. This is a unique place to enjoy and learn about the magic of coffee. Carlos and his team offered us a superb breakfast experience with truly delicious combination of Latin American and local dishes. But even more important, they shared with us their passion and knowledge about coffee. Then they allowed us to wander their back shop where they roast their coffee so that they can offer the best flavours and to their customers. If you are in Cambridgeshire and love a genuine nice atmosphere and coffee, this is a place you must visit.

An awesome and rather quirky bistro off the beaten track. Some bits: Coffee Lemon Meringue ..were awesome. The beef pasty I had was disappointing from a pastry perspective as it was very thin and soggy, but the filling flavour was excellent. Cafe also has a range of gluten free/vegetarian etc items to go with your coffee. Pricing is very reasonable but the fact that there were plenty of people there on a Mon afternoon is probably the ultimate recommendation. Also sells locally roasted coffee beans which can be bought ground for expressos or caffitieres.

Iβve been to Cafe Amigo (previously El Cafecito) about a dozen times and thought it was time to review it. Itβs a lovely little cafe, with a very friendly atmosphere. Excellent food both savoury and sweet, and the coffee is really good. It has loads of outside seating in the sun and in the shade, and it is perfect for summer days. At times the service can be a little slow, but it is worth it, and all the staff are really nice and polite. Perfect place for a cafe stop on bike rides around West Cambridgeshire.

Went there for the beans to find that they have a great semi-outdoors and free cup of coffee for a bag of bean you buy. The beans such a pleasant way to start each day. Oh, and they are also very caring. I stuttered just a bit when I got my coffee in a takeaway cup because I was expecting a dine-in ceramics cup. They sensed it right away and immediately showed concern to find out what it is. Very lovely people. Highly recommend. But better go early, there will be lots of people!

This is a great place to enjoy a freshly grounded cup of coffee. Not only that , but you can experience the whole process as it happens. This place is also a roaster and the lovely lady has a true passion for coffee. The smell of coffee at the back is amazing. Lovely and friendly staff and the food is nice as well. Hidden π. If you believe this review has been helpful for you, please donβt forget to press the π button. Thank you.
