Small out of the way coffee shop/lunch place in the village of Northbrook. Great coffee, WiFi, munchies and home style baking. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere is casual and there was an attached music shop. What's not to like. I was there with a friend to sip some java and use their WiFi connection, since there was no internet and only spotty Cell coverage at Bon Echo provincial Park. They didn't mind a couple of guys using their bandwidth and taking their time to get their online fix. This place often goes unnoticed to persons traveling through. If you find yourself in the mood for a delicious lunch of deep fried chicken, house made burgers, or cezar salad, you need to look beyond the main hwy 41, and check out this eclectic diner- music store nestled just opposite foodland grocery. Don't forget to grab a cup of freshly ground coffee, or if you're in the mood for something more decadent, there's always barista style drinks to please the most discerning palates. My friend and I were in the Flinton area this morning hiking the trails and when lunch time arrived we headed off to Northbrook in search of a restaurant. This restaurant was the only one listed as open and when we arrived I was unsure if in fact it was a restaurant or even open. What an amazing eclectic spot!!!! Friendly folks!
