Easily the worst experience I have had at a Subway in almost 30 years. We ordered 3 foot long subs, two of which were to be toasted and the third was a tuna. As they started to cut the bread, I was told they were out of tuna. I swapped the tuna for another sub, and told them all three subs would be toasted. As they were putting the meat on the subs, they told us the toaster was ânot readyâ (they just received a new one and were trying to figure out how to set it up). We hesitated as we only ordered these subs toasted, but since they already started putting the ingredients on, we continued. They hesitantly offered to microwave them, but acknowledge it would likely make the bread soggy. They microwaved the bacon for one of the subs, but when they were putting it on the sub, we noticed it didnât look warmed up at all. Then, as we were putting the rest of the ingredients on, we saw they were skimping on the lettuce as it was the bottom of the tray and he clearly did not feel like going to the back to grab another tray, even though there was a third sub of ours to still do. This was after we clearly expressed that we were not happy with all of the issues with the subs we wanted to order. We asked for more lettuce on the sub, so he went to the back to get the new tray of it. Then we asked for pickles and realized they didnât have any of those either. Finally we were paying for the subs and the guy asked if we wanted a bag, we said no, that we would be eating in. As we were paying on the debit machine, the guy walks away to start making a sub for another customer. They didnât pass us our subs, we had to reach across the counter to get them which felt awkward, and although we didnât care for the receipt, they were t even there to ask if we wanted it. To make matters worse, the bread was very stale, and halfway through eating, we saw they finally got the toaster running.
Weâve been Subway customers for a long time and this isnât the first time weâve run into little issues, but the lack of awareness for customer service from the employees really makes a bad situation stand out. We understand there may be issues with supply chains, or being short staffed, but we felt there was no real apology or acknowledgement from the employees. They should have let us know ahead of time what ingredients they were out of and that the toaster was not...

I was on a long trip from Toronto to Ottawa.
I needed to use the restroom in order to relieve myself, so when I spotted a gas station, I thought I would refill what I have consumed lately and use its restroom. Sadly, the gas station was sold. It also seemed the subway was closed and sold out. I was about to leave my wife spotted a subway employee, so we assumed it was open. The door was rather dilapidated, so we were skeptical it was open at all, but it was!
The sign on the door says that the restroom is out of order. It turns out it's a bit of a ploy because the female restroom is indeed out of order, but the male restroom is not. This can be confusing for the males who need relief.
Another plot twist! Maybe it's not a ploy, but more of a lapse from the staff. Why? Because you need to spend money (aka customers only) in order to use the restroom.
So I decided to buy a meatball marinara to gain access to the restroom. The staff member was very nice and suggested a cookie would be good enough, which would be because it'd be a lot cheaper. However, for a couple of days, I've been dreaming of meatball marinara, so I stuck with my decision.
Food 3/5: the meatballs looked dry; it seems they don't meet their daily quota, so they don't refresh their food. I had a bad belly ache overnight. I'm not sure if it's Subway or something else.
Service 5/5: the staff was nice and polite and provided good advice (the cookie).
Atmosphere 2/5: looks dilapidated from the outside, and some of the windows are covered with paper. Not...
Read moreHORRIBLE visit. Not only are the prices $4-$5 more at this location, but the girl working Thursday, Oct.9/20 was TERRIBLE! She had good customer service, but took forever to fulfill the order correctly. I ordered 3 subs. My entire time waiting for my order was 40ins. My husband even came in to see what was taking so long. This was with me being the only customer in the store, at that time! She had chosen to do each sib individually. On my first sub, she put salt instead of pepper. She asked me if it's ok to eat despite her mistake. I repeatedly insisted it was not. She then asked if I wanted to take it - but being on route to Ottawa - we did not want extra food in the vehicle. Luckily the 2nd sub went ok. 3rd sub, being a BLT was horrific. She didn't ask what kind of bread I wanted, had no clue how to pay down bacon to get rid of the fat (this was a 5 minute training session alone!). The subs hardly had any toppings at all on them. 3 sub combos at $50 - NOT WORTH IT! Regret visiting at all. Advice: Go to another location...
