Andrews Original Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Alberta

We stopped off on our way home from camping for a bite... no regrets! On the way in, asked the owner what do you recommend on the menu. He said, "Everything on the menu is good!" I have no doubts! Greeted promptly and cheerfully, we ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fish and chips. Food arrived hot and fresh, and generous portions. The burger tasted homemade and nice and juicy! The sauce and toppings were perfect. Wasn't quite sure how I'd fit it in my mouth to be honest! The fish were very tasty and the batter used was not that thick greasy stuff one is used to, but a lovely light breading, not greasy at all. Tartar sauce had a very good flavor as well. Ample fries and gravy were served. Contemplating getting a cup of the Foothills Creamery ice cream in local haskap flavor to go. Very highly recommend this little...

This pizza joint is a gem in small town Andrew. We have eaten pizza around the world, including Italy, and this is the absolute Best!!! The sauce is fresh, delicate and so tasty. They don't skimp on the toppings, plus there's plenty of stretchy cheese. The best part is the crust, it's chewy inside and crispy outside. If you prefer floppy, thin crust, fold-in-half style pizza, this is not your place. My husband is a pizza expert and this is his favorite. He also says their lasagna is the best he's ever had even though I make a pretty good lasagna myself 😆 A 12 inch is plenty for lunch for 2 with leftovers. My husband and I decided to do little Alberta road trips to “the Largest __” Today we came to the town of Andrew to see the Largest Mallard Duck. And wanted to stop off at a restaurant in town.
