Thing is, the manager doesn’t care at all. Like actually doesn’t care. The host was friendly and seated us. After about 15 minutes the waitress leisurely strolls by and asks us if we want to eat or drink. Hahaha! We were like uhh yeah? Can we have a menu? She then never came back but we saw her wondering around. The bus boy finally came over and asked if he could help so he got us menus and took our drink order. He was a really nice guy. Then the waitress came by and took out food order after like 30 minutes. And like, she didn’t say as word about taking so long or never bringing us menus. Ok…. So then the food came out. No cutlery. My wife never got her tarter sauce. Of course nobody came to check on us so I went in to get it from the patio after about 10 minutes. Wow! So then the manager brings out the tarter sauce and I mention our complications and he literally shrugged. Like he said to me "oh”. I suggested he maybe pay attention to this kind of thing because it’s how tips are made. That manager could care less. He didn’t even try to say sorry. So at the end I paid the bill and gave the bus boy 5 bucks. I would say buy something at the store to eat or go to Banff but don’t even think about wasting your time or money at this restaurant. For what it’s worth the food was actually pretty decent. Overpriced but...

The food is terrible and pricy, I understand this is a tourist area so of course it is not 100 percent perfect, but this was just terrible. It was around 21-50 dollars for a meal, which is again reasonable for a tourist area. The food was terrible and the waiter I had was so rude. My family and I went there, it takes a bit long to get food, but I assume because people may come after their hike, just like us so it was maybe busy.... but I only saw 5 people there, so i'm not sure, and there was only about 5 waiters and waitress. We ordered chicken tenders and fries which tasted really bland, and the fries were green, spicy chicken sandwich, the chicken was stale and dry, very dried bread like, and the fries were really brown, steak sandwiches, the steak was medium well, when we had asked for medium rare, and the fries were fine in this meal, and the worst of all the fish and chips, the fish was not edible at all, so we packed it up and threw it in the trash, we did not want to complain because the waiters and waitresses there were so rude, the chips were fine but some had been really burnt. The bathroom is unisex, and very dirty and cramped. I do understand tourist areas are not cheap nor perfect but this was my experience here, yours might be different, but this is just...

I really was excited to try this place. I booked online and when asked what we were celebrating 🍾 I mentioned our 25th anniversary. We had a beautiful day and headed up at 6pm. When we arrived they didn't even ask if we had a reservation. We litterly need to go threw a road block and prove we had reservation 🙄 you would think they had a heads up🤷‍♀️. We were seated and then ignored for almost 15 minutes. Leave?? Well we wanted too but it litterly was the only place close. We would of taken 30 min to go to other place. Anyhow after I mentioned we would like to order they finally took our order. Oh drink only. Then finally after 30 min got food order placed. All the while a table of four ladies was getting served like royalty. So frustrating. They didn't show us the specials til after we ordered with a opps sorry. My husband's food was good fish chips how do you mess that up and I salad wraps (zero flavor). Now I get we were not guest of this place. We came from cabins below and we were treated as such. The below feeders lol. I really really hate bad reviews but this place could of done so much better with what I saw 4 server's . This Canyon is historical place. This place clearly favors its guests only. Very...

Me and my family had both brunch and dinner at this restaurant since it was the closest to the Johnson Canyon Lodge and Bungalows. The food that we ordered was phenomenal, especially the beef medallions, which were one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Aside from the food, the service was amazing. From the waitresses that served us from brunch and dinner, they both went above and beyond to give us the best experience not only in the restaurant, but beyond as well. During brunch, our waitress gave us a list of nearby attractions while being friendly, welcoming and fun! For dinner, our waitress, Hannah, was no different, we all talked together and had a great time. She gave us excellent service by explaining our dishes all while providing over the top service. To us, it felt like as if we were visiting a good friends home. I’d say give this place a try! It is well worth it!

Ordered the Ahi Tuna and the veggie burger. I'll start with the positives, clean bathrooms and the restaurant was clean plus a nice patio. The negatives, service took a bit longer than usual, 3 ladies served the place, one served the table next to us was very friendly (overhead the conversations), ours was ok but the third one had a major attitude, asked her for utensils and she completely ignored me. The veggie burger was below average but not much can be expected from a veggie burger. However, the tuna was just horrendous, under cooked, very thick, had a weird smell to it and the bun was a bit chewy. Cesar salad needed more dressing even though I asked for extra and the fries were dry. Prices were almost twice as the average elsewhere, Clean place and our server was ok which got them the two stars but I don't think I'd return.

I understand why it’s 3.2. Its gotta be pretty Bad for me to give a Bad Review unless it is Needed * $20 to Park * Slow service, I meant almost No Service @ 3:30 and almost empty restaurant * Served us Hot can drinks & Stingy with ice even after asking for me ice. Brought us (2) large glasses less than 1/2 full * Brought us empty Ketchup & Mayo (like did not care to notice they were Empty) * No internet for 100 miles & will not share WiFi )even if your Desperate * not much to Choose: Burger, Soup, Salad * Bison Burger was Amazing Paid $143 before Tip: (4) burgers & drinks, no alcohol, no appetizers + $20 to Park and Yes, I saw the prices on the Menu as we view the Menu I guess when your the Only Option it’s Not Important to give Good Service & make the Customer feel Appreciated when they Pull in the Parking Lot & Walk in the Door
