Boyle Burger Bar Drive In — Restaurant in Alberta

From the building's unassuming outward appearance, you might not necessarily expect to find fantastic Western and Chinese fair on offer at this quaint little drive-in. But if you did, say, stop and sit down and sampled one of the Boyle Burger Bar's many different dishes, you would certainly have your expectations far exceeded. On our way home on a long holiday road trip, our family grabbed a bite at this quaint little restaurant, and were thoroughly impressed by both the friendly service and delicious food. The owner clearly puts his heart and sincerity into running his business, and happily catered to my parent's dietary restrictions while providing us all with an exceptional meal. While we were enjoying our meals, he brought out a dish of complimentary ginger beef that had been prepared so that my parents could eat it. Stopped randomly to grab gas at the coop and saw the place. Didn't expect much but grabbed about $60 worth of food. Figured it was gonna be like any mall Chinese food or something being a spot in a small village.

Hands down the best Chinese food I've had in all of Alberta.

Couldn't compliment the owners enough they are so polite and I told them they need to be in a major city because they have the best sauce to meat ratios in all the dishes.

Mixed veggies were not soggy and bland instead had perfectly cooked beef and steamed veggies.

The wonton soup was filled with veggies and slivers of brisket. Made for the perfect serving size dish to mix in the other food I got.

Chicken balls aren't caked in batter and dry they were made incredibly well and didn't leave me feeling bloated and regretting eating out after.

I made a small order (burger, poutine and a small side order) and it was $27 fricken dollars! Burger was gross, poutine was small and swamped with gravy. It was not good food, I couldn’t finish it and very expensive. Going to the Pizza place in Boyle and getting a large pizza for the same price next time. Thats some serious inflation when a person has to spend close to $30 for a burger and fries these...
