A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Service and Delicious Food!
Our group of 24 visited Golden Peaks Restaurant at Aurum Lodge for breakfast after an unforgettable trip to Abraham Lake, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality by Sophie, the amazing manager, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
The ambiance is breathtaking—a cozy, peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The food was absolutely delicious, made with fresh ingredients and prepared with care. Whether it was the flavors, presentation, or portion sizes, everything exceeded our expectations.
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that our large group was well taken care of. Despite the size of our party, the service was smooth and efficient, making our breakfast a truly enjoyable experience.

Amazing Dinner at Golden Peaks Restaurant inside Aurum Resort! Hidden Gem in Canadian Rockies! Some of the dishes are out of this world!
Our tour guides were raving about this French chef who worked at the Michilin restaurant in France. We came an hour early because we do not have WiFi, it is about a kilometer from David Thompson Resort. Our waitress, Belen was so kind and seated us an hour earlier than their opening time. Once we arrived, the owner, Luke, came and greeted us right away.
We, family of 5, from the US is pretty much ordered every items on the menu and some x2. We absolutely love all appetizers. The artistic presentation of the 64 degree perfect egg was really perfect as its name. The beef tartare was so delicious.
As for the main menu, our favorite was Hokkaido Sea Scallops, followed by the Pasta.
Save the best for last, the Golden Peaks Lemon Pie is OUT of this world!!!!! Our guide said their cheesecake was also amazing but they just changed the seasonal menu but we are so happy of the Lemon Pie!

Wow, what a hidden gem waiting to be discovered on the banks of sparkling Abraham Lake! Our family of four had an incredible lunch in the restaurant's gorgeous dining room overlooking local peaks. The kids split the terrific poke bowl (they have a kids menu too), while my wife and I shared the two lunch specials. The first was perhaps the best burger I've ever had—with house ground beef (med/rare), perfectly crisp bacon, a piquant, sharp, cheese-meets sauce combo, lettuce, tomato and a beautifully crunchy brioche-style bun. The pasta feature was equally as flavourful, with elegant Cavatelli, cherry tomatoes, pistachios, evoo and a Burrata ball that fell apart into sweet, creamy goodness with each forkful. We were fighting over every bite! Dessert was deconstructed strawberry "soup" with meringue, mango cake and white chocolate wafers...OMG.
