Joe's Grill — Restaurant in Alberta

Stopped in for shawarma. Upon greeting the lady at the front I got the feeling I was going to end up with a good shawarma. I ordered and then she asked what I wanted on it. I asked her to do it up. As in make it how it is supposed to be. I got the whole high school McDonald’s worker vibe. (Red flag). After some awkwardness she said everything? And I simply agreed. Then for the sauce was the same awkwardness until she made a recommendation. Got the food quite promptly. Opened up the fries and was a pretty good amount. They turned out to be the crinkle cut ones that are super dry inside. Real bummer. Oh well move onto shawarma. The chicken was like the boiled stuff they have at subway. Not bad just not the right stuff. Just seasoned with salt and pepper. It was not pressed after wrapped. Would have been good if I ordered a chicken donair is suppose. Owners of this place have never had a proper shawarma. If they have they should be ashamed. I did not give a lower rating because this is my first time here and that is the only thing I ordered. Could be like I did the whole order a burger at a Chinese restaurant. Not a real fair...

I ordered a * bacon * cheese berger after 10min order ready ... I open my burger to add more ketchup and I look inside for bacon it was not bacon it was fake bacon ... I ask the lady what's that ? Answer me turkey bacon .... then told me it's halal restaurant here no pork ... I said ok where does it say on the menu it's halal .... I would never ordered fake bacon ... she answered me we don't say it anywhere ... I'm like $&@&@^ .... you want be a halal restaurant fine no prob but advise your custumer it's the least you guys can do .... I love my bacon and I paid for a bacon cheese burger not fake bacon.... ill never set foot there again and I go by that place 1 per day .... this should be illegal to force ur custumer to eat ur way .... we are in...

Ordered pickup lady on the phone sounded like she could care less and tried to rush the call. They don’t offer prices on anything online. So to my surprise I got there I ordered there small 2-1 pizza and was charged 40$. That’s not 2-1 pricing. Both pizza were very undercooked and slimey. The meat pizza had about ten layers of deli meat put on which was about 1.5 inches thick. Could only eat two pieces before my guts started turning leading up to me puking violently and gave the worst heart burn ever. For 40$ it should of been awesome pizza but just goes to show that ppl don’t care about quality or professionalism. Will never get...
