Service was good, but the food was mediocre at best. Had the 3 choice platter with pulled pork, ribs and brisket along with sides of mac and cheese, beans and spoon bread. The pulled pork was absolutely swimming in bbq sauce (so much that I couldnt really tell it was pork), the brisket was dry, and the ribs were coated in so much black pepper that pepper was all I could taste. There was little to no smoke flavor in any of it. The mac and cheese and spoonbread were very good, but the beans were so undercooked they were inedible. The par 3 fourth hole is the most beautiful that I have ever played. The course was in super shape for the opening day of 2016. I was surprised that for a course in the mountains it was quite flat. Only 3 holes had some change in elevation....2, 4 and 15. I had played Jasper Park Lodge the day before which was incredible too!! ...

Because of this it was lacking in atmosphere sadly and we regretted our choice. The food was tasty but when we finished our meal at 9 the staff were closing up and looking the door as we paid and left. Not the best experience and the shuttle driver conceded it is usually quiet. I'd have prefered an honest view from the start as that took out one night of a two night...
