I went there on Monday, Sep. 1, 2025, around 5 or 6, and it was the worst customer service I had at a Starbucks store. Normally, I always get awesome service and food (I'm from Calgary), but this one either needs new staff or retraining for customer service. There were two women that just didn't care or have sympathy for customers. One just had a face that said it all, hand on face and bored, like she didn't want to do anything, and the other was just angry serving drinks. They just laughed at me when I didn't understand the first time they told me about something, even my kid noticed. But it's okay, I don't feel offended, but as a person that used to work in fast food at McDonald's, let me tell you, McDonald's has better customer service than this location. The owner should talk to them, and sorry, normally I don't put a bad review, but this sucked because I was with my kids and it ruined the whole trip for us. So, not sorry for...

When we ordered three drinks, my husband asked for hot water, and they gave it for FREE. Others also received hot water for FREE. Later, my sister-in-law bought a cake pop and cookies, and when she asked for hot water, a staff member (who seemed to be Russian) asked her 25 cents to get hot water (Duhhh). Additionally, a staff member from Banff Gondola gave an attitude and side-eyed us. Sometimes, people working cannot give equal treatment to customers. It's a sad world. Do you have any ideas on how to spread kindness, especially to those in need? Next time learn how to be consistent. Take note we gave also 20% a tip for them.

P.S. To the Chinese guy staff member who gave us hot water for...

This Starbucks at Banff Gondola has hands down one of the most breathtaking locations I've ever experienced - situated right at the Banff Gondola with absolutely incredible mountain views all around. The staff provided great service throughout our visit, and I was impressed by how much seating was available, making it easy to find a comfortable spot to relax. Whether you are looking for a quick coffee to go or want to settle in with a bite to eat while soaking in those amazing alpine views, this location delivers on all fronts. The combination of quality service, plenty of space, and that unbeatable mountain setting makes this a must-visit stop when you are at...

Stopped here as part of a Rocky Mountaineer Rail tour. About 25 of us were going to take the Gondola to the top, and explore the area. While waiting, noticed that they had a Starbucks onsite. Not ever wanting to miss a Starbucks hot beverage, I ordered a hot chocolate (my usual is a tea latte). They even offered to add extra whip cream, and chocolate drizzle. Talk about decandent. The staff were relatively new, but everyone was trying their best to made us happy. Nice job by the crew. The hot chocolate was delicious.

I wish I can give them stars in negative . So rude staff. ATTENTION!!! And the mugs displaced so badly at the entrance so that people break them by mistake and they charge them. Can you imagine that!!!! Even their employee said people usually break those mugs. So that’s a trap. Make sure u don’t break a cup before ordering a coffee mug. They are making free money from that cause no one buying those stupid ceramic mugs. And I wana know when they break it themselves , do they pay or no??
