Subway — Restaurant in Alberta

There were two staffs on duty when we went in. I was gonna buy a sub for my friends and me while my partner was gonna use the restroom as she had to use it badly.

As I was browsing the menu one of them (light skinned native girl) immediately told us: "Only customers can use our facility." with a tone. Which I immediately told her "Yes we will be purchasing but can she use the restroom first if that's alright with you. I am just waiting for my friends."

When my friends arrived I told them about the staff and we decided to no longer eat there. After I ordered and paid for our food she hid in the back til we left and let the other person on duty cater to our order. (He was polite)

To your staff maybe be a little less rude or phrase want you wanna say in a more polite way. You have some 4-5 stars reviews maybe you just had a bad day or whatever but you could have handled things differently.

I don't know if this subway branch gets a lot of people come by and use their facility and not order items. I for one never use an establishment's facility and do not pay for...
