T-Bar Pub & Grub — Restaurant in Alberta

We were on a drive and stopped at Castle Mountain to take a peek. Tucked in behind the ski school and rental building there was a tiny pub. We went in for a drink and a snack.

Oh ma Lord! I had the most AMAZING French fries…crispy, perfectly salted and a hint of the cooking oil. We had two orders of large between 5 of us and they were filling. They came in a basket with mayo, ketchup and vinegar on the side. The fries really did not need help but the condiments certainly enhanced the flavour.

If you are up for a drive, definitely make this trip just for the fries, although, if the fries are this good I am sure all of their...

Food was ok only. Very expensive and not filling. We mostly left hungry. not family friendly. If you plan on taking your infant they do not have a baby change area in either restroom. If you can’t cater to all guests you shouldn’t be open. Where is someone suppose to change a newborns diaper ? The floor ? No thanks. Either have a change table or have proper signage as to where customers can do this. To say the least we were disappointed. Will not be returning to this...

Was very disappointed, arrived at the restaurant at 907pm, we were told by the staff that there was no food as the kitchen closed at 9pm. There was just the 3 of us, I'm sure they could if they wanted to rustle something for us but no, I guess this is what is called the service industry. What great service- turn your customer away. Will never step there ever and will never recommend this...
