Twice now we've gone there and spent $20 plus dollars for food and asked for two cups of cold water to drink and they rang in two cups of hot water and proceeded to charge us $0.20 per cup. The first time was over a year ago and when I saw that they rang in hot water on the till, I corrected them and said no we ordered cold water. They proceeded to argue that they have to charge that per cup and I said that every other Tim Hortons does not charge for cold water. I know they charge for hot water only because I was told at another location some people bring their own tea bags. I called their head office while I was there and asked them to clarify what their policy was and they confirmed they are not supposed to charge for cold water. They took my complaint over the phone and said they would talk to the manager at this location and go over this policy with them. I didn't go there again for a year or so and when I went back there recently, they did the exact same thing again and proceeded to argue with me again. I told them I had already talked to their head office once and was going to call them again. They refused to take the charges for cups off the bill and when I refused to pay, they refused to give us water. So they are denying people a basic right to drink water with their food by being greedy, nickle and diming them. This was once again after we spent over $20 in food. I was furious. I called their head office again and was told the same thing again that they were not supposed to charge for cold water cups. The lady at the head office was very nice and apologized and said once again they would talk to the manager there. I have never been to another fast food franchise that charges for water cups, especially if you have bought a lot in food. I told them if they did this again I would not be giving them my business again. This was so unprofessional of them to argue with their customers and risk losing business. They would rather make people pay for 20 cent cups than come in and buy $20 worth of food? Pretty stupid! The food was also...
Read moreI would like to express the bad experience I had with this store. I went to the drive through and waited until they get my order but 2 cars has passed me by with the efforts of saying Hello to the intercom they have but there was no answer. So, I went ahead to order at the window. They were all confused so the original lady asked if I put my order in but this lady named ‘Anna’ a Filipina lady(I swear this will be a needed information in the end) butted in and said “Did you not order at the back?” Which I politely answered I tried but it was not working. She looked at me with disgust and said “oh no we take turns between” I said ‘I did wait but 2 cars on the other side passed already’ and she did not like that so she started taking my orders rudely enough my 8 year old recognize and said ‘why is she giving you so much attitude?’ I said can I please get two Camp Day donuts?’ She kept asking What? I said Camp day donut. But she kept saying Camp what? camp what?. U mean canada day donut? Which thankfully her coworker said camp day donut. Oh, what is that? And punched it in and she handed them and I said I am still waiting for quenchers she said Oh my God and started talking in Tagalog. Not nice words at all! The problem with that is I am a filipina who understood every word you said. I am very disappointed. I tried to call the Manager to express and explain that Anna needs more coaching but unfortunately manager is...
Read moreI recently stopped in Lethbridge on my way to Calgary, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice for a quick break during a road trip. The first thing that stood out was the abundance of parking—there were plenty of spaces, making it incredibly convenient to pull in and park without any stress. The area was clean, well-maintained, and had a calm atmosphere, which was perfect for recharging before hitting the road again. The service was another highlight; the staff were friendly, approachable, and efficient. Whether you needed directions or just a bit of help, they were quick to assist and made the experience feel welcoming and hassle-free. While I didn’t grab food at the stopover itself, there were several nearby options for coffee or snacks that seemed ideal for travelers looking for a quick bite. The overall setup felt thoughtfully designed with travelers in mind, offering convenience and comfort without overcomplicating things. For what it provides—great parking, excellent service, and easy accessibility—it’s an excellent value for anyone driving through Southern Alberta. If you’re looking for a reliable spot to take a break between destinations, I’d highly recommend this stopover in Lethbridge. It made my journey smoother and...
