Viking Burger Queen — Restaurant in Alberta

Honestly, it was the best bacon cheeseburger I have ever had. The owner served me even though I arrived after closing time (actually served 3 or 4 others that arrived after me as well); you won't get that level of service from most other establishments.

It took some time to prepare, so not the place if you are just looking for some quick food, but definitely the place if you want hot, fresh quality food.

I may start adding the extra 20 minutes out of my way to grab lunch or supper from this place more often. I bet their breakfast is great, too.

I was also told that many items are homemade on site, so no mass-produced burger patties, or buns, or fries; I mean, come on, that's fabulous! And all for a good price.

I drove by this restaurant thinking it was going to be delicious food and friendly staff because Viking is such a small town. Well I was wrong... We walked in and said hi, with no reply we then asked if this was where the good food in town was... Again no reply. We went up to the counter and the staff continued to ignore us. We ended up just leaving.... I'm so disappointed don't go here if you want to be waited on by rude people who look like they are judging you the whole time. Oh and another thing to add, this place needs a good cleaning it's gross 🤢🤢 there were flies on the windows and the kitchen looked disgusting😡🤢 DO NOT COME HERE...

After standing in Burger King and watching one guy on phone and another too busy printing receipts I left. Drove by Burger Queen. Local drive in with fresh made burgers. Even bun. Ordered double mushroom burger. No sauce. The service was prompt and food took a bit but well worth the wait as burger was cooked fresh. The 4 stars was because the meat was over cooked. Nice that the meat was a bit crunchy on outside but sure dried out the meat. Hopefully next time I stop it’s not so dry. Restaurant was very clean...
