I've been going to them for years now, I've always loved their fish or chicken burritos. Unfortunately, even after many years of business, they are almost constantly out of common and easily accessible supplies like chicken, or fish. Realistically, I can confidently say that this is the issue at least 70% of the times I go to them. The main problem is the yearly price increase. Like I said, I love the food, but I also understand that I am paying for a meal that consists mainly of cabbage, which is totally okay with me. With the price they are asking today, and the simplicity of the burrito itself, you could easily make them yourself for a quarter value or less.
Great people, pretty good food, but insanely overpriced. Nearly $15 for a single burrito consisting of primarily cabbage is probably realistic for tourists and people curious about trying the food, but not for people looking for a fair priced meal that plan to return.
My advice, buy from them once, then recreate the dish itself. They are very simple dishes with inexpensive ingredients and require little...

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the portions, it's about 7 dollars CAD for one taco, and you're gonna be stuffed after one or two. Trust me, I ordered a lot of them, and spent the next couple days eating tacos. Which was awesome. The burritos are even bigger. (Included a picture of one of the tacos for reference)
It should be noted, this isn't a "fast food" operation, so you're gonna wait a few minutes while they make it - but you've got a beach front view to do it on, and I cannot think of a nicer way to wait. (Also included a pic of the view from the area in front of the business.)
I highly suggest stopping in if you're heading through the Qualicum area, I sure will be next time the wind blows me up that way. My commendations to the staff and owners, thank you for...

It made it very awkward and frustrating to eat. They were more like an open face burrito than a taco. They were served wrapped neatly in tinfoil. I learned quickly not to take them out of the tinfoil. I literally ate them rolled up in tinfoil much like a burrito and it was a mildly flavored frustrating mess. The flavors were very mild. I would have liked more seasoning and less toppings. The portions were generous, a bit too generous to be honest. Lots of people seem to like this place and it's great they have a local following. It just wasn't my taste so I won't be back. I'm a taco lover and these just didn't...
