Sometimes open, sometimes not. Last year I had a very delicious breakfast here and was looking forward to same this year. The ferry leaves at 8:20 and yet they don't bother opening until 9. Looking around at people peeking hopefully in the windows, hoping to give them money makes me wonder why they would not put a priority on reasonable hours and exploit the summer opportunity. But then, I'm not a restaurant owner. I'm only a hangrey, not appropriately caffeinated professional nerd.... Edit: got a coffee just before boarding the ferry : it was good. Had a bite of a freshly baked croissant: it was good. As a restaurant they seem to be good: they just need to refine their hours

The staff here was very nice but I’m sorry to say you should only eat here if you have to. We ordered buffalo chicken wings but were served barbecue chicken wings. This mistake was made when there were no other customers at the restaurant. The bbq wings were ok after all but obviously not what we were expecting. The chicken panini was ok.

For a small cafe, not bad at all. Expect a small town atmosphere, and you will not be disappointed. Prices good, and counter staff great. Buddha bowl huge and tasty, big enough for 2. Pancakes adequate, but the syrup can be improved. Need another option besides light syrup. A good place to chill waiting for the ferry.

Personal Review: The Cove Restaurant and Lodge, Madeira Park, BC

On a recent trip to Madeira Park, BC, I had the pleasure of dining at The Cove Restaurant and Lodge. This cozy spot is situated along the Sunshine Coast Highway and offers a delightful experience for both locals and travelers. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the friendly staff and the inviting, rustic atmosphere.

I decided to start my day with their traditional breakfast, and I was not disappointed. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was cooked to perfection. Paired with a cup of their freshly brewed coffee, it was the perfect start to my morning.

One of the highlights of my visit was the outdoor seating area. The weather was beautiful, and sitting outside allowed me to fully appreciate the stunning natural surroundings. The view of the nearby trees and the peaceful ambiance made my meal even more enjoyable. It's clear that the restaurant has taken great care in creating a comfortable and relaxing environment for its guests.

The service at The Cove Restaurant and Lodge was excellent. The staff were attentive, ensuring that my coffee cup was always full and checking in to see if I needed anything else. Their warmth and hospitality added to the overall positive experience. I also tried one of their famous cinnamon buns, which lived up to the rave reviews I had read online. It was warm, gooey, and perfectly spiced – a true treat that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the restaurant.

In addition to the great food and service, the restaurant's location is convenient for those exploring the Sunshine Coast. Whether you're passing through or staying in the area, it's an ideal spot to enjoy a meal.

Overall, my experience at The Cove Restaurant and Lodge was fantastic. The combination of delicious food, friendly service, and a beautiful setting makes it a must-visit if you're in Madeira Park. I highly recommend stopping by for a meal – you won't be disappointed!

We were looking for somewhere nearby to have lunch and stumbled upon this charming cafe restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere and exceptional service. As soon as we walked in, the chef greeted us warmly and recommended trying their freshly made burger patties paired with handcrafted fries. It was clear that everything was prepared with care and attention to detail.

The food itself was absolutely delicious; the burger patties were juicy and flavorful, and the fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The cozy ambiance added to the overall experience, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal.

The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our visit. I highly recommend this cafe restaurant for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be...

Food is good kitchen staff seemed pleasant but wow need to get a new counter girl, someone with a personality would be noce since your in a Customer service business. Doesn't smile, rude, and looks like she can't stand her job why would you have someone like that represent your business? Prices are way to high for the quantity of food, fries and 4 small chicken stips with a gravy for 20 bucks come on. I know your holding people hostage at the terminal but be reasonable I grew up all my life going back a forth to Powell River and there used to be good home cut fries and gravy and gooooie Cinnamon buns and ice cream now all over priced food and no more ice cream cones sad day. This is the second time I've encountered this young girl and I figured I'd see again if things have changed NOOOPE!! Good luck I won't eat therr again till...
