Ordered fried halibut and baked halibut. Fell in love with the fried halibut was super tasty and amazing very light batter and had an amazing crispiness to it. Poutine was okay. Baked halibut was bland, coleslaw was good. Amazing to sit outside in the nature in tranquility and have your fish and chips in peace with your beer on a sunny day. Was disappointed with the paper ripping off at the bottom on the tray didn’t find that hygienic. Definitely will go back but will order in take out paper trays than the plastic tray and the paper tipping as we eat. Would be nice if the management looked into this matter. Not sure if they wash all the trays.

They make the absolutely hands down best halibit fish and chips on the island. The portions were generous. The halibut fresh not frozen, dry and tasty. They served the most delightful coleslaw with just a hint of lemom kick to the dressing. No grease on the serving containers either. If you are like me and sneeze with factory prepared batter mixes have no fear there was no preservatives used in their batter. My only regret is I did not find this seafood gem earlier but it definately make eating under their covered picnic tables a treat when you are passing through Mill Bay.

Best fish and chips spot I've ever been to! Huge pieces of HALIBUT/cod came with crispy fries and tasty coleslaw. And their bowl (or a cup) of clam chowder is a must! I also recommend a can of Lucky lager to pair with everything. They also cater to customers who brought their dogs with seats available outside!

The halibut and yam fries are amazing! The roasted garlic sauce for the yam fries is great. We came it for a late lunch after a day of travel and exploring. Wish this place was in Washington State. You definitely should go eat here. It’s a quick drive from Mahalat Sky Walk.
