The Highline Pub and Restaurant is in the small community of Seton-Portage. The food is very basic as the town is in a very isolated community. We chose a nachos and cheese plate. The restaurant/pub is in an old building, and you have to be open-minded to full of character, both the building and the staff. It is across the street from a modern hotel. I believe this is the only place to buy food in the small Aboriginal community. Only those with vehicles that travel well on gravel roads and very narrow steep roads should travel to this community.

Al is your go-to guy. He’s like the big brother of the town and making sure everything is in order. RC is cool and energetic. You can definitely see his father’s influences in him. Ray and Rhea are the warmest people you’ll ever meet. They are straightforward, genuine, and the kind of couple who take matters into their own hands. The best part is that they don’t gouge you on liquor price despite they are the only bar in town. Glad to have met them!

Very friendly young lady that is totally accommodating and helpful while working in the restaurant, bar, off sales and small grocery store areas. (Fresh supplies come on Saturdays). Have not eaten nor drank here but I give it top marks simply based on the way we were treated by this pleasant person. (She is not the owner because she wasn’t sure about the room rates up stairs).
