McBaked — Restaurant in Area C (Arrowsmith-Benson)

This was our 1st experience at McBaked and OMG. First off, the drive from Parksville to Whiskey Creek gets the digestive system ready. Once you enter the gates off pizza heaven, you are greeted by the warm smile of Mrs McBaked, who is ever gracious that you made the pizza trek. Then you are introduced to Mr McBaked - The Chef: who is busy making a masterpiece of a Chicago style deep dish. Both are taking the time discussing how they created their little slice of heaven in Whiskey Creek out of necessity. I could describe the smells, of how much my stomach was growling. I absolutely love this place! The pizza is always fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. They have a great variety of toppings, so there's something for everyone. What really sets them apart, though, is their amazing selection of baked goods. Whether you're in the mood for a sweet treat or something savoury, they've got you covered—everything is baked to perfection!

Not responsive after a week to an email inquiry about future hours of operation. Totally fine if they are not set. Not particularly professional to ignore the email inquiry. Update: Nothing but helpful and professional after I highlighted the email miss. Likely a technical issue. Owner has been responsive and complete in his assistance. Good recovery.
