Didn't actually use Sprockets but had a delightful and informed visit to Dream Cycle museum to which cafe is attached. The cafe closes too early 330pm. Plenty of free parking and have been there on a previous motorcycle trip last year across Canada and found the light meal and coffee of a High standard. The museum has a number of one only motorcycle display and bikes like the Pierce Arrow are unlikely to be seen elsewhere as only 12 ever made. Also has a one only ex WSB Honda 600. The owner Mark is very knowledgeable and loves to talk about bikes. He also has an excellent range of souvenirs may he has custom made such as the Bowser glass lights.

Hidden gem off the highway at the motorcycle museum on your way to salmon arm. Open Sundays! If you miss the turn, turn around and go back…..the extra 10 minute drive is worth it! Baking and pies all look amazing….it was hard to choose just one, so took a piece of carrot cake to go and ate the butter tart as an appetizer so didn’t make the photo! Cookies the size of your head! Worth a stop! Notch hill road is a lovely country well paved road to get back on the highway heading west after you realize you can’t turn left leaving the cafe. (We were pulling a little trailer too).

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! I have a restricted diet and can’t eat fat, so I brought my own canola oil spray with 0% fat. The cashier was incredibly understanding and accommodating. I ordered two scrambled eggs, plain bread, lettuce, and tomato, and they prepared everything perfectly for me. Thank you so much to the team for being so attentive and making my meal just right! Highly recommend.

Now here's a a quaint little cafe 24 klms west of Salmon Arm. A part of the building that's home to Dreamcycle Motorcycle museum, (a great place to visit if you're a fan of motorcycles) opposite the Chevron gas station on the Trans Canada highway. This little cafe rocks and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I travel alot and visit this cafe every month. Some reviews I read indicated a long wait for food. That's probably because everything is homemade and it's worth the wait. If you hit it at peak times, your order may take a while. It's the real deal brothers and sisters. No processed or frozen food. Everything is made from scratch including desserts and pastries which are to die for. The freshly baked cinnamon buns came out of the oven while I was eating breakfast and they are huge. Black Forest cake, carrot cake, pies, muffins you name it. I could write a short book on this place. Great choice of coffees and other hot drinks. Friendly service and prices that don't dig deep into your pocket. If you live in the area or travel through like me, I highly recommend you stop in at Sprokkets. You won't be...
