Kool Treat — Restaurant in Area C (Christina Lake)

Went yesterday for some food with a friend got the breaded chicken burger and onion rings with a drink, and would have to say the best thing was the iced tea i got. The bun was gross and gummy like plastic, the chicken looked and tasted like a used sponge (probably not real chicken) and even the single tomato tasted off. The onion rings has no seasoning or anything the batter tasted grossly greasy.

My friend got the poutine and same breaded chicken Poutine was extremely salty, and would make you pucker and gasp for water the fries werent even good. How hard is it to cook Fry's and burgers, the food just seems extremely cheap and over priced neither of us could get halfway through our food. The boba drinks are overpriced and way too sweet also couldnt finnish his drink.

The new owners, need to see this and they will start seeing alot more of these soon throught the summer from others if change isnt implementation into the quality of their food big...

Very poor meal size. $17 combo gives you a child’s size amount of fries a TINY drink and what was supposed to be a 6 oz burger was a charred 1/4” black brick of a patty, what I think was lettuce (brown not green) and the thinnest tomato slice. No other condiments on burger. Crispy chicken wrap had NO chicken in it. $17 and it was just lettuce and sauce. Heard many other complaints to staff while I was there. Staff would shrug their shoulders and say. I dunno.

Not the fist time this summer we’ve had a thoroughly disappointing $20 meal here. Not a place with values. Just another place with high prices and low grade product.

Would'nt answer there phone for takeout orders. Went down myself and ordered and waited outside for food, after 30 minutes i got it. Took it home only to find both of the 3 piece fish and chips i ordered only had 2 pieces so clearly done on purpose and misleading customers. Also bought jalapeno poppers and 5 poppers cost 15 dollars (kinda figured i would get at least 6-8). Turns out theres no jalapenos in their poppers. Once again just flat out lies.
