If I could give this place more stars I certainly would. You know the food is good when at some point a foodie forgets to take shots of the dishes, and just digs in because it looks so good. Beautiful restaurant at the heart of a wonderful establishment. The staff were very courteous and accommodating. We were surprised and delighted at how cosy the inside felt and it was very well regulated in terms of temperature and exposure. Now, the food. The food is outstanding. Flavours are masterfully balanced and each dish tells a story. We did a wine paired lunch, and chose dishes that allowed us to sample the variety of offerings. I started well but evidently abandoned my photo journaling after a few dishes to focus on the noms. You simply have to experience it to understand. My respects to the chef and all the staff.

Found this place to be very pretentious. We tried to have lunch but we didn't have a reservation and we were turned away so we opted for a charcuterie and wine tasting. The young server was very well rehearsed on the tasting notes of what was being served. None of the wines were impressive enough to warrant the big prices so we left empty handed. Hard to understand why the prices are nearly double that of all the neighbors.

Who would have thought that the best restaurant in the South Okanagan region is located within the winery? It's incredible to enjoy such delicious food throughout the entire journey in this area. We spent an afternoon tasting their afternoon tea and dinner, and it's a remarkably high-quality restaurant that is highly recommended.

Upon our arrival at 2:30 p.m. on a quiet Monday afternoon, my partner and I found the restaurant almost deserted, with only two outdoor tables of four patrons who were already concluding their meals.

Seeking a light afternoon snack in between tastings, we stepped inside, only to be greeted by the hostess inquiring about our reservation status. Upon learning that we did not have a reservation, we were promptly informed that no more "walk-ins were being accepted" due to several upcoming reservations, despite the noticeably sparse crowd on a Holiday Monday.

The irony of turning away potential customers when the place was virtually deserted struck us as rather comical. It seemed perplexing that a simple table for two could not be accommodated in such an empty setting.

This missed opportunity to serve customers left us amused at the curious management decisions at play.

We are locals and love cursing Black Sage Road, visiting these wineries with friends. We will actively be letting people know they should visit the two fine boutique wineries across the...
