Stopped there before a round of golf to get a reservation for a table for 8, pro shop told us we didn't need one, then we showed up after our round and they had no tables except outside, we went outside and it was a bit chilly, but survivable ( though we were annoyed we had been told we didn't need one then got pushed outside, outside still had lots of tables I guess)

Waiter came and grabbed drink orders for the first foursome, ( other four were buying merch from pro shop) our foursome arrived shortly after to fill the table of 8, but then the waiter didn't come back, after 15 minutes ( I had a text receipt I referenced for time) the waiter was nowhere to be seen, bartender said things were going to be very slow, and with the chilly outside combined with what seemed to be extremely slow service we left.

The waiter did have the drinks from the first order in hand as we were leaving, but really should have came back earlier to grab more orders. I explained we were leaving, referencing that it would be more than 20 minutes to get drinks (as the order still hasn't been taken yet) and we were now at 15 minutes and the waiters response was understandably frustrated but just said, "It hasn't been 20 minutes".

All in all it felt like maybe the place got busy and they didn't have enough wait staff, but the reservation annoyance combined with the slow service with no communication means one star. I also heard from another patron that the wait staff here is notoriously standoffish.

I hear the food is good, but I wouldn't know.

Recommendations for others, insist on reservation inside, and be ready for a...

This review might be a bit long, but i hope this saves another family from what we went through. We went as a family of 4 for a nice dinner out on our trip ( my one son has an egg allergy which will come up later ). To start, the restaurant is nice, nothing extravagant, and our waitress was pleasant. My wife and one son had a nice meal no complaints ( chicken fingers and the salmon dish). As for myself and other son (egg allergy), we ordered the $120 steak for 2 dinner which, spoiler alert, was atrocious to say tue least. The steak came out first, the problem was all the sides that came with it came out in long intervals, about 5 minutes each. The salad had no dressing except at the bottom, not mixed at all. The potatoes( 5 minutes later) were completely burnt, dry and unappealing. The 2nd order of potatoes for the egg allergy (5 minutes later) were bland, the vegetables were mush and the sauce with them tasted like burnt peanuts and caramel. By the time every came out, the steak was completely cold, and we asked to have it heated back up again. When it came back, it was barely room temperature. We were asked if the meal was satisfactory, and we had said not even close, they gave us $30 off of our bill as we had eaten the food (obviously as we had waited 45 minutes for food and my kid was very hungry). No complimentary drinks, dessert, or anything. Long story short, save your money and eat elsewhere for better...

First impressions were great, beautiful view. Menu looked decent. We ordered the Tomato Bisque which tasted similar to a canned Campbell's soup but chunky, the focaccia was the highlight of the dish. My husband ordered the Cliffhanger Burger and it was a great choice. Properly seasoned. I unfortunately made the mistake and ordered the the New York steak.. I ordered medium rare and received a medium, once I mentioned this to the server she stated she would take the plate and bring back my sides right away and I also mentioned that the mash needed some salt. The server came back stating that the kitchen had made the first steak medium rare and would make it more rare instead.. Honestly I'm an Albertan and I know my steak.. it definitely was not medium rare.. The butternut squash and roasted beets were the best part of my dish. It is unacceptable to come and tell the customer that they are wrong about what they have. After like almost 40 minutes I get my meal and it wasn't any better..

Truly an unfortunate evening.. We did not have much of a choice in restaurants as it was the only one open for the long weekend.

Hopefully anyone that goes here...

Best restaurant of those available at the resort and reservations are a must. Beautiful views. Food was high quality. The bisson burger was slightly rare, which was beautiful to see, so the meat was tender and moist. Our other choices were excellent as well. The waiters are well-trained as you'd expect in this level of restaurant. Only service complaint was the girl who delivered our food. In good restaurants there's a rule: two hands = two plates. She had three plates and the delivery was rather awkward. I thought my burger was going into my lap. They lose a star for that.

Found this place on google reviews and was also recommended by the locals. I had the grilled chicken club which was served on a ciabatta bun, white cheddar, crispy bacon, avocado, spicy mayo and arugula. It was delicious. They managed to keep the chicken moist and flavorful and it was refreshing to serve avocado in the sandwich. Even their fries were delicious. Highly recommend if you are in the Windermere/Invermere/Radium Hot Springs area.

Stopped for a lunch time meal. Great put together burger held together very well which i loved as i hate dirty fingers. Beer is Fernie brewing so find your fave and enjoy. Uncle had the chicken burger it is seasoned and crispy great burger suggest to try that one. It is a bit messy to the end as it has coleslaw on it. Send out more ketchup and leave salt And pepper on tables. Covid is over
