Extremely slow but friendly service. My group ordered the cheese ponchos, which are essentially fried potato waffles drizzled in cheese. The appetizer was tasty, but the portion size left something to be desired. I ended up getting the dinner special, which happened to be steak and prawns. My entire group got their food before I did due to a mixup with the servers. I asked for medium rare, but it was more like medium to medium well. The steak was nearly flavourless with very little seasoning. Its texture was spongy and reminiscent of dirt - as if it had been sitting out in a pale of water for a few days. Yuck. The prawns were basically shrimp, and the dish included a single skewer of them. They were overcooked and under-seasoned. The vegetables included broccoli and carrots, and the broccoli was overcooked. With nothing to dip them in other than the gravy from the mashed potatoes, I ended up leaving most of them on the plate. The carrots were acceptable. The potatoes were a bit dry, with the gravy being the saving grace. Overall, it was a pretty sub-par experience. The waitresses were friendly and the atmosphere was decent, but the long wait for much-less-than-great food took away vastly from my visit. The bill was also extremely disproportionate to the portion sizes, quality, and wait time. Good for a pint but...

We love spontaneity. Living in the moment, yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift which we call the present. Being spontaneous can reshape the brain and/or boost it's capacity, at least that is the way I feel and see it. We left on a whim to explore the Okanagan Valley on a hot summer day. On our way home we stopped for a bite to eat at the Riverfront Pub, what an amazing location. The service was friendly, welcoming, accommodating and prompt. The only draw-back was the smokers were situated right beside us which came after we sat down out on their patio. Smokers can go outside anytime they choose, but we can't sit out on a patio on a hot summer day unless it's hot and summer. Sad that we still have to bow down to the "COPD crowd". I realize this pub is in the "boonies", however, lungs don't come...

This is one of my wife and I's favourite places. My wife attends the Ukrainian Catholic Church so we go to the pub after services quite often. I am not much of a church goer but I am definitely a Grindrod Pub goer. Today we went because it was my wife's 62nd birthday and they offer free birthday wings. We were shocked when they delivered 62 wings. There is no way that two people can eat 62 wings. They were delicious by the way. We have never had anything but good experiences at this pub and it is hard to beat their location right on the river. Make the trip,...

They hosted our group for a fundraiser and the owners were absolutely amazing and accommodating. Great atmosphere in the most beautiful location. Wish I lived closer as we do not have neighbourhood pubs like this in Kelowna! The drive is not long and the views are stunning! I would highly recommend stopping by and enjoying a drink!
