🔥 Be Teased – Badass Backyard Food Truck & Live Music Venue — Restaurant in Area F (Scotch Creek/Seymour Arm)

Ladies and gentlemen, prepare your taste buds for an epic journey. This local food truck is not just serving up food; it's dishing out happiness, one mouthwatering meal at a time. Imagine food so good it makes your grandma question her cooking skills.

Every item is a work of art, the result of culinary wizardry performed right there in the truck - no secret kitchens, no elves. You'd think they've got some Michelin-starred chef tucked in there, creating scrumptious masterpieces with a wave of his spatula.

And don't get me started on the atmosphere. The live music? It’s like Woodstock, Coachella, and your favorite jazz club had a baby. It's background music at its finest - the only downside is you may find yourself doing a little jig with a taco in hand.

The team running this powerhouse on wheels is as sunny as a beach vacation. They greet you with warmth that could melt a polar ice cap, and make every effort to remember your regular order - no matter how complicated or strange it may be. "Extra jalapenos, no cheese, and a squirt of lemon on your burrito, right?" That's service!

Finally made it out to Be Teased to enjoy an absolutely incredible outdoor music performance. I cannot put into words just how much I love the atmosphere and overall vibes of the location.

The place was at max capacity last night, and the Be Teased crew were running off their feet to keep up. They crew did such a good job keeping everyone well hydrated with a great selection of delicious beverages. Despite how busy they were, everyone was smiling the entire night.

I was a little hesitant to try the food as the menu was perhaps a little more eccentric than what I typically lean towards. I did try the Chicken Tacos and was pleasantly surprised with the bright fresh flavor. I am looking forward to a future trip out to try more...

The Be Teased restaurant across the road from Thompson Rivers University is shutting its doors.

The cafe, located at 795 McGill Rd., will be closing Nov. 1 according to a Facebook post by ownership.

"After long deliberation, we have decided to close down," reads the post. "As most of you know, the food industry is not an easy one."

The owners cite a few reasons, including the distance from their home (they live in Scotch Creek), parking at that location and increases to the minimum wage. A new location sometime in the future is possible, they add, but they'll be focusing on their other businesses right now.
