Farrier Pub — Restaurant in Area G (Lac La Hache/108 Mile Ranch)

My husband and father in law went there for a beer while the new owner was working, they came home and raved about the music and service. I was excited to go back with them and check it out the next day. There was a new guy in, he talked on his phone the whole entire time, no music playing at all. Our 2 year old daughter was laughing and excitedly talking to her grandfather, the guy then told my husband to "keep her down". So unacceptable and rude. We had the pizza, which was really good, except for the fact my father in law had to go to the back to order it, as the guy did not come back ever to take our food order or ask if we wanted another round.

This is a nice little pub. There were 6 of us making it 9 or 10 people there altogether and 2 waitresses. If you ordered beer you got served immediately. I ordered a virgin Caesar and it took mine and another highball over 10 minutes to get to us. Two of us wanted to order the crab stuffed mushrooms only to be told they were actually 3 cheese not crab (the menu was not changed or even crossed out). And then after changing our orders, mine took quite a while to get and the other never came at all so the cook had to be called back to the building to cook up the burger. Staying in 100 mile for the weekend, trying to try a bunch of different restaurants in the area. By far the best I've had yet. I had the stuffed mini Yorkies for lunch. The presentation was so cute. I've never been a fan of onions but these were amazing. I'd never complain about them if they all came like this. Our server was also great, very attentive to detail and friendly. I'm very much looking forward to the dinner we ordered to go.
