We passed by Samosa Garden after seeing a cryptic sign on a field 20 kilometres out from Keremeos. The menu was limited as they were closing within a few days for the holidays. We were pleasantly surprised to see that they have several vegan options. We tried the veggie samosas, chana masala, daal, rice, and roti. The food was delicious and tasted very fresh. I would recommend requesting spicy as the medium is quite mild.

Great spot if you’re craving Indian food at a good price. The samosas are the highlight, fresh and packed with flavor, and they’ve got a nice variety of vegetarian and meat options. Portions are generous and the menu has a lot more than just samosas if you want a full meal. Service is quick and the place feels relaxed, easy to stop by for takeout or a casual sit down meal. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.

Amazing food! Better than most restaurants in the lower mainland. You won’t be disappointed. There is also a hotel and fruit stand at the restaurant. We stayed at the hotel and it was very good at a reasonable price. The room was clean, well designed and very comfortable. Although the location is on the highway you couldn’t hear any road noise.

We went there today around 11:00. We ordered chat papri , aloo tikki and 4 samosa. Samosas are worst, samosas did not taste fresh, may be due to the oil used to fry or way the oil is stored, we raised the concerns with the server and owner, without hesitation owner started saying they will not get any discount, we never asked for any discount. I told her we are not looking to get any discount.Instead we asked if they would be willing to switch the samosas with aloo tikki, they refused to replace the items with different dish and again the same response that we will not get discount, their response was as we eaten some part of the samosas, they will not replace it and we should asked for replacement before that,I don’t know if that possible without tasting it, we ordered 4 samosas, left one untouched. Me and my 2 kids ate 1/4 to 1/2 of all three samosas and left the other untouched, it was very rude and arrogant on their part as my kids have to leave the restaurant hungry. When we went to pay at the counter that we will not get any discount , there was around 15 people sitting in the restaurant who could hear that we felt so ashamed , we kept mentioning we didn’t ask for any discount, Worst experience to start the long weekend.so disappointed with the service. I will not...

I recently visited Samosa Gardens in Keremeos, BC, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. Despite the restaurant being pretty empty, there was no host or staff member to greet us or seat us promptly. We had to seat ourselves and wait quite a while before the single server, who seemed to be managing everything alone, came to take our order.

We started with a vegetable soup that had way too many vegetables and not enough actual soup, and it just wasn’t very good. Then we had a papdi chaat that was one of the worst I’ve ever had—bland, oddly fruity, and served cold when it should have been warm.

The mixed vegetable curry and aloo gobi were just okay, nothing special. The naan and garlic naan were fine, but overall, the service was lacking. The server didn’t really understand the order in which dishes should be served, and we ended up eating things in a way that just didn’t make sense for the meal.

To top it off, the sweet lassi was okay, but the salted lassi had no salt. And throughout the meal, it was hard to find the server for any additional requests because he was mostly in the kitchen.

In short, it wasn’t a great experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for good hospitality or authentic flavors. Hopefully, this helps others know...

Had ordered the Vegetable Pakora as an appetizer and unfortunately the inside was cold. Off to a bad start but then we got the butter chicken and it was really good as well as the Naan bread. But lost points again as I tried to walk to the washroom and our server and I believe the cook was making out and blocking the doorway to the washroom. Really had to pee but felt uncomfortable so I walked back to my table, plus it’s not like I could just walk by them to the washroom because he was pinning her between the doorway. Anyways, if you’re going to make out with your coworkers, i suggest maybe going somewhere a little more discrete like a storage room or walk in freezer. Hope...
