I recently had the pleasure of discovering Sulky Sam’s Takeout, a charming little takeout spot nestled in our quaint village. From the moment I walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The menu, though small, is packed with delightful options that cater to all tastes. I tried their homemade Barbecue Beef Sandwich accompanied by the Greek Salad and was blown away by the rich flavors and generous portions. Each bite was a comforting reminder of home-cooked meals.

I did not feel like cooking tonight and wanted to try this local restaurant out. I will definitely be back!! Prices are amazing, the portion sizes are huge! And the food it's self, absolutely amazing. Personally I had 1lbs of cajun wings and a banquet burger with fries. The wings were full of flavour and cooked just right. The burger, patty was bigger than the bun, portion of fries that came with was over flowing. Burger had amazing flavour, bacon cooked just right and real cheese. Fries were a golden crispy brown salted just right. I have NEVER had food from a restaurant this...

Passing though town at dinner time, I stumbled upon this literal hole in the wall, and boy, am I glad I did!

The banquet burger was hand made and tasty, the brisket on a bun was tender and lightly smokey. The star was the deep fried pickles.

Rather than the same crumb batter everyone else uses for their pickles, Sully Sam's Takeout uses their fish batter. So good!

We'll be back next time we come through, for sure.

Pro tip: order ahead, especially at dinner time. The great food and lack of competition means this place is busy as heck! Worth the wait, but better...
