Coastal Coffee — Restaurant in Ashfield–Colborne–Wawanosh

On reviewing just now the website for Coastal Coffee, this company looks like it says and does all the right things. But my experience of Coastal Coffee at the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival this weekend differs. It was a cooler day on Saturday at the festival this year. We wanted something warm to drink. Coastal Coffee had a truck onsite at Lions Park and we went there rather than walking to the downtown. However, the prices were exorbitant … $5.00 for a regular sized cup of Hot Chocolate that we witnessed being made from a can of Carnation Hot Chocolate! We appreciated that our Hot Chocolate was warm, but it was less than satisfactory otherwise - watery, too little chocolate. It was very disappointing! I realize that Festivals provide a captive clientele and are an opportunity for businesses to make some extra profit. But gouging customers as Coastal Coffee did this weekend is unacceptable. In the future we will bring a thermos with us of our own coffee or hot chocolate rather than support a business like...

The House Blend is delicious! We used Coastal Coffee's fundraiser program to raise money for this year's Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. The process was so easy, Ben was prompt with all communication, and the coffee was freshly roasted and delivered to my doorstep the same week I submitted the order. I am so impressed, we will definitely be ordering again and can't wait to try some of the other blends and...
