Extremely Disappointing Experience – Will Not Return

Our visit to this restaurant was unfortunately one of the worst dining experiences we've had. Upon arriving, we were made to wait over an hour just to place our order. There was no communication or apology from the staff during this time. When the food finally arrived, it was significantly delayed again — by then, our group was understandably frustrated and hungry.

To make matters worse, when we were ready to pay, we were told their payment system was down. This caused yet another delay of nearly an hour, effectively detaining us at the restaurant until the system was back online. No alternative solutions were offered, and no compensation or apology was extended for the excessive inconvenience.

To top it off, they enforced a mandatory 15% tip because we were a group of six or more — despite the poor service and long delays. While we understand automatic gratuity policies are common, it's unreasonable to expect guests to pay a service charge after such a disappointing experience, especially with zero accountability or compensation offered.

We won’t be returning and would not recommend this place to others. Poor management, lack of communication, and terrible service from...

Alors il y en a gros à dire... (Bien lire jusqu'au bout je garde le meilleur pour la fin) Déjà nous prenons la peine d'appeler pour faire une réservation de groupe (20 personnes au total, 2 adultes et 18 adolescents en compétition pour la fin de semaine.) Nous avons fait cela pour diminuer les temps d'attentes pour permettre à nos athlètes de bien se reposer suite à leur repas du soir.

On annonce notre arrivée pour 20h00, Le restaurant nous demande d'arriver pour 19h30 pour ne pas faire finir leur staff trop tard (ce que l'on a respecté en arrivant vers 19h35.)

Alors ensuite..... 30 minutes d'attente avant de prendre nos commandes. 45 minutes avant le premier verre d'eau et 1h15 avant d'avoir la première assiette sur la table...

Je comprends que nous étions un groupe, par contre nous avions pris la peine d'annoncer bien à l'avance notre arrivée.

Oh... le meilleur dans tout ça...! Ils annoncent à 20 enfants de 13-17 ans qu'ils seraient tous facturé automatiquement 15% de pourboire chacun pour le service.

Nous avons annoncé à la serveuse que cela n'était pas du tout acceptable, mais que selon eux un pourboire ne serait pas à la discrétion des clients et que leur gérant aurait pris la décision de facturer automatiquement un pourboire pour tous les groupes dans le restaurant.

Je trouve ça inacceptable dans un premier temps de dire à un jeune de 13-14 ans qui apprend à faire sa gestion avec son argent de charger un pourboire obligatoire et d'ensuite d'avoir l'audace de lui dire que s'il le désire, il peut en RAJOUTER ???

J'aimerais ajouter pour tous ceux qui n'auraient pas le contexte, tous les jeunes étaient assis à table et discutaient ensemble sans causer aucun problème, aucun dégât, aucun cri...etc.

Honnêtement c'était un gros n'importe quoi et j'aimerais bien voir ce règlement qui consiste à facturer obligatoirement (même après discussion avec la serveuse) un pourboire aux clients. Ça me semble complètement illégale.

Le pire c'est que vous auriez certainement eu votre pourboire sachant tous très bien les conditions au services en restaurations. Mais c'est complètement à la discrétion des clients.

I tried to order a gluten free pizza, but the waitress said they haven't had gluten free dough for 2 years. So, I ordered nachos. The cheese wasn't all melted and was actually cold. The waitress took it back to reheat it. There was so much tomato sauce on it that the nachos in the middle were soggy. My friend ordered rolls that were supposed to be meat free, but she got a taste of bacon off of the third one. The waitress apologized, but still charged us full price. I hadn't been there for a long time because of slow service and lack of options. When I saw the flyer add for a the garden of dreams pizza, available with gluten-free dough, I thought I'd give it another chance, but I won't bother...
