What an excellent little find, the name is awesome! We were on our way to the Cape George Lighthouse and happened to see a sign for Fish and Ships on a light post while were driving. Great endorsement right?
We were hungry though and it was less than a mile off so we stopped in to grab some food. It is a tiny little establishment that is right in the Ballantyne Cove, so you have to go down into the cove itself to find it. There's plenty of parking around so just grab a spot anywhere.
The menu is not gigantic, but the staff was super kind and the food we ordered was very tasty. We got a platter which had a smattering of everything, but all of it was good. My personal highlight, as dumb as it sounds, was the golden crispy french fries. They were amazing!
Either way, what a fun little place. I'd highly recommend a stop here for some tasty...
