Radio Café — Restaurant in Beaupré

Went there with a party of four people on a Saturday afternoon. We called ahead in order to know if they still had tables available; we were told that they were having a 80 people group coming later that day but we should be good to go in the meanwhile.

Got at the restaurant and a very impolite waitress reluctantly took us to the worst table in the house (by the washrooms) while the whole place was empty and all tables were available. Five minutes in, we are all looking at the menu, and the cranky waitress comes back and ASKS US TO LEAVE because of the 80 people reservation that they had coming soon.

Extremely unprofessional behaviour from the staff and management that shows the lack of knowledge of theirs on operation and unpreparedness to deal with big crowds and a full house situation.

Great place to go if you like to be mistreated...

We I had a fantastic experience here! The service was top-notch, and the food quality was excellent. I absolutely loved it! The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about their ingredients. Our lunch meal, including Nachos, poutine, pizza steak, and smoked meat. Smoked meat was simply awesome. The poutine was yummy, and I highly recommend trying the smoked meat, but go for the one with thick sliced smoked meat and Swiss cheese, not the radio cafe style. This was my 1st time at this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. It was beyond expectations. And they had so many options on the menu. We shared onion rings and calamari for appetizers. Then I had the Duck linguini pasta. It was delicious, the pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was a wow. 2 other people in our group had the salmon and it was very good too.
