Wow! Carol and I moved to Grande-Anse last fall, so we're just getting around to some of the local eateries. Last night, it was Resto Chez Isa's turn! Being predominantly English speakers, we were a little apprehensive at first, but we were greeted warmly in English and French and felt more than welcome. We had arranged a reservation and were seated quickly. We ordered a couple of bevvies, an onion rings appy, and a Cod Filet with fries for me (Mike) and Seafood Lasagna for Carol. Our drinks arrived, followed shortly thereafter by our onion rings (hot & delish!). We finished mowing through our appy just as the main courses arrived. The cod was a large fillet, lightly breaded and cooked to perfection - the white meat flaking easily with a fork! Carol couldn't believe how much fresh seafood was in her lasagna! We couldn't finish either meal but supplied boxes made easy work of packing the leftovers home. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Chez Isa and promised ourselves a return trip in the near future! We highly recommend this place for its warm and inviting atmosphere and really delicious...

Also, it is in sight of the roundabout going to Caraquet, Caraquet bypass, and Bathurst. Our waitress was efficient, friendly, and spoke very good English, worry pas! ;-) Hard to choose with a number of great pizza choices including seafood pizza. We chose the seafood plate for 2. Having visited soooo many "seafood" restos in our province known for it's seafood, it was so refreshing to have it prepared MUCH nicer without heavy batter or deep frying that is so boringly common. Delish! The pie was too! The dining room went from empty to full very quickly and all were served promptly. Next time we will try one of the several interesting poutines with various...
Read moreOn the way home from Miscou Island Lighthouse, we stopped at this place for supper but the place was full, so we decided to order take-out. It takes a while to wait for our order but it's all worth the wait. My family loves the boiled dinner and we are never disappointed. It was delicious! Nothing like a home-cooked meal from the best restaurant. Also, we're tourists in the...
