Louisa Cafe offers a mixed bag. The star of the show is undoubtedly their coffee, providing a delightful start to any visit. Complementing the excellent brews is the excellent service. The staff are attentive, friendly, and efficient, making you feel genuinely welcome. However, where Louisa Cafe falters is in its food offerings, which leans towards mediocre. Adding to this disappointment are the novelty food items, which, while perhaps visually appealing, are notably overpriced. The ambiance is in dire need of a refresh. The decor feels dated and could benefit from an update.

I just moved in Lorraine in December from Montreal. Ma favourite was Paquebot in the Old Port where they had one of the best coffee. It was a pleasant surprise when I found out Louisa coffee shop. They have the same coffee beans, and it tasted just the same as Paquebot. They have many nice food choices (cookies, sandwiches, salads, etc.). Good people, great coffee...
