Donnini's Express & Railway Cafe — Restaurant in Botwood

The experience was a solid 2 out of 5 stars. The best part of the meal was the view. I ordered deep fried cod and a chef salad. As you can see from the photos the accuracy can be improved. I recieved a Caesars salad instead. I was too hungry to send it back. Turkey dressing, chips, chef salad(caesar salad), deep fried cod, glass of milk and a can of coke. $26.69. The restaurant was not busy and the speed of service was adequate. The staff were friendly. The cleanliness of the premises was adequate as well. I will likely not eat here again but if I do the restaurant may redeem itself. Hopefully I just went there...

Now, I love this life. We have a precious moment here that should be cherished. Every breath is accounted for when grace abides in the soul. All this being said: do NOT get the poutine with the works or whatever it is. The bacon was abysmal, the dressing was foul, and the green onions & banana peppers, which are usually a blessing to any dish, turned the poutine into an old memory that keeps you up at night, festering, laying eggs.

I have never had a poutine that made me sad until that day.

Visiting from Ontario a few days ago. My nephew and wife from NL, my daughter & boyfriend and myself went to have something to eat. Ordered, waited for a bit. Everyone's order but 1 showed up. Was told the missing order would be right there. Waited, then told a few minutes. Waited, and apologies for forgetting the order.
