Absolutely delicious with outstanding service. Clearly the wrong address if you are expecting fine dining but as a roadside restaurant this ticks all the right boxes. Besides being very flexible with our special requests the food was delicious. Given our limited time in Canada, we still consider coming back.

For my first time in Nova Scotia, this is by far the best place to eat. Food is made fresh, is reasonably priced, and the waitress is extremely friendly. I ordered the seafood pasta, definitely the best lobster/shrimp/haddock dish I've ever had in my life. Will definitely be back next time.

Ate there recently after getting off ferry. It was just what we were looking for. Very pleasantly surprised to have an amazing Lobster sandwich, fried Digby scallops and local beer. Seafood was fresh and welll-prepared, and beer was cold. Great, prompt service as well.

We came in to eat at Fitzgerald's Restaurant on July 1st after the ferry ride from Newfoundland. We checked in at the motel next door where the clerk told us it would be okay for us to go to the restaurant at 6:45 p.m. even though they closed at 7:00. We were leery of going in at that time, but we were tired and hungry. The two servers who were working were so cordial and assured us that it was not a problem for us to be there just before closing. I had the fish and chips and I honestly can't remember what my husband ate. I do know that we both enjoyed our food and conversation with our server. The owner even asked us about our experience as we were leaving to go to the motel. Thank you for your friendliness and good food for two...

We are so happy we stopped here. We were on a day tour from the cruise port and was looking for a place to stop for a late lunch. The Lobster sandwich was so worth it. My Ukrainian husband ordered the homemade cabbage rolls and said he hadn't had ones this good since his Mom passed. I only wish it hadn't been the same day that Post Tropical Storm Phillippe had visited, or we would have enjoyed the view of Kelly Mountain. Thank you to our server for her lovely manner. Don't hesitate...

The place was completely empty. Should have known better. Overpriced, less than mediocre food. Soup was decent, crackers were stail. Fish and chips ( 1 piece of Haddock), Lobster Club Sandwich, 2 soups and glass of orange juice cost me almost $89. I was charged an extra $5 for substituting regular fries with sweet potato fries. The patio floors were fall- through rotted and unsafe. The worst dinning experience I've had in a very long time. Probably ever. Don't waste your money...
