A&W Canada — Restaurant in Brampton

They put the grilled onions for my burgers in massive clumps. It calls into question how they view customers, as if they see us as beasts that just devour anything that loosely resembles a burger; because even if you don't like the food, it should be clear that biting into a dense clump of onion the size of a small lip balm container would be utterly disgusting —even for domestic animals I would imagine. I really like the A&W brand, but it might be the next thing getting high jacked on the local level, being turned into something to feel apathetic about. It's one of few franchises I'm proud to eat at, it being delicious and Canadian and ethical... But this location has three different addresses between Uber, iPhone Maps, and Google and they don't seem like they care to be helpful over the phone at 2pm when I'd called regarding this order (not a particularly crazy time to call).

But I'll grant them a decent track record of the absolute most basic orders. I don't recommend adding anything to your orders, only subtracting. Do continue to get food from this location, but don't try anything fancy unless you're hanging around to show them and tell them how they might've butchered your order.

I ordered a Mama burger and poutine at drive-through. I received my order after waiting 2 mins because they said it will be fresh. Okay great. I drive home and something just told me to look in the bag. So I opened the bag and seen this cod fish sandwich with my poutine. I had to drive back from home to the restaurant cause I really didn't want to eat a fish sandwich. Clearly there was some kind of miscommunication. I told one of the stuff that I wanted a Mama burger and the employee that served me came with a thick accent trying to defend himself instead of saying sorry said that I said no to something and that I ordered this. I don't even know what this sandwich is called so how can I order something I don't know the name of 🤷🏽‍♀️. Anyways they decided to make what I wanted.. Good thing I came inside because now I see the unclean handling of the food. One just came off from doing some kind of paper work to handling the food.. Touching hamburger buns to warm up and putting onions on what seemed to be my burger with unwashed and no gloved hands. Both rushing and doing multiple tasks. I didn't want to argue. I just took myself and left. I should have left it and got a refund. No going...

I have to change this review due to the manager during the day whom lied to me about my order. He tried to say that they did not put the honey mustard on my burger when they did. This time I asked and they said no. We can put on the side. I asked due to driving and not having the ability to rip apart my sandwich and put it on. They said not there problem they don't have a spatula for it. I explained use a knife plastic or wooden. They always do it for me. I asked him why they do this evrytime and now no. I canceled my order and they manger told me at the window even though he served me and he said he did not. I asked him you are calling me a liar? He said no. I asked than why are you saying you did not when you did? I don't have time for liars. This place than told me they will spit in my food so I should leave. Than I asked him why would I even be your customer if you can not provide customer service. He than said leave my drive thru or I will call the police. I think I should...
